పాపరాజు గారు 1790 సంవత్సర ప్రాంతమున ఈ కావ్యము రచించెనని బ్రహ్మశ్రీ వీరేశలింగము వారు చెప్పినారు. ఈ రెండు పద్యములు ‘హేమంత ఋతువు వర్ణన’ ఘట్టమున నుంచి ఉటంకించడమైనది (Page 213).   

కాచెను సిరికలు తఱుచుగ, బూచెం జేమంతి విరులు భూమికి బరువై

తో(చె ( జణకాది సస్యము, లేచెన్ బలుమంచు చదల హేమంతమునన్

కొండలెల్ల మంచుగొండలై కనిపించె, నడవులెల్ల బూచి నటుల మించె

దీవులెల్ల ( దెల్ల దివులై రహి గాంచె , మాపు రేపు మించు మంచువలన

With abundant amla fruits

And chrysanthemum blooms all over …

The earth seems heavy with chickpeas

In this Hemantha season

Many tents of fog ‘ve risen touching the sky

The hills look like snowy mountains

The forests appear as though in inflorescence

All the isles look like white (draw) wells

Due to the overwhelming

Coverage of (season’s) mist

During the nights and mornings
